Learning Sessions
Based on the 2014 National Curriculum, the Heritage Trust offers a range of taught Learning Sessions for children from EYFS to KS2. Led by our Education and Learning Officer and using real and replica objects, costumes, and guided role-play, our sessions offer the opportunity not only to explore our local and national history but also provide links to the STEM (Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) subjects.
Choose from either a museum-based session to enhance a school trip (taught from our newly refurbished Gauge Museum at Bishops Lydeard) or a classroom-based outreach visit; Learning Sessions cost £45.00 and last approximately an hour.
