The Gauge Museum March Update

During the closed season, volunteers from the West Somerset Railway Heritage Trust, worked in the Gauge Museum adding to the existing displays of GWR cab plates, work inside the sleeping car to make it more of an interactive exhibit plus a whole area of interactive items for our younger visitors.

The model railway has been updated and remodelled extensively by the model railway team.

The photos show volunteers Richard and Ray working on the new display of the loco name and cab plates. The other photo shows our education officer, Helen, assisted by her parents / volunteers John and Pam Anson setting up the interactive section.
