Simon Parkin visits the West Somerset Railway

From Monday 6th August to Saturday 11th August, various staff and volunteers from the West Somerset Railway are going to be featured on Simon Parkin’s regular “Off Street Parkin” ¬†feature at approximately 11:45 AM on BBC Somerset radio.

The features will be as follows:

Interview with Paul Conibeare at approximately 10:45 AM on Monday 6th of August.

Approximately 11:45 AM on Monday, interview with one of the drivers.

Approximately 11:45 AM on Tuesday, interview with Colin from Friends of Stogumber Station.

Approximately 11:45 AM on Wednesday, interview with Claire Sheppy about the heritage carriages project.

Approximately 11:45 AM on Thursday, interview with Steve, who is one of the booking clerks at Watchet.

Approximately 11:45 AM on Friday, interviews with various passengers on the train on the day that Simon visited and travelled from Bishops Lydeard to Williton.

Approximately 7:20 AM on Saturday , interview with John Parsons, Williton stationmaster and also the duty signalman on the day of Simon Parkin’s visit.
