We are delighted to announce the appointment of Helen Anson as the new Learning Officer in support of the Gauge Museum HLF Project. Helen is an experienced primary school teacher who, in addition, has also got a background in heritage and historical Museum work. Helen will be joining the railway from the 10th December for two years on a part-time basis with a particular focus on developing the learning offer to the Gauge Museum and other Trust and railway activities for schools, colleges, community groups and other stakeholders. She will be getting around to meet key people early in her tenure and I hope you will join with the HLF Project Group and the Trust Board in giving her a warm welcome to the WSR.
