The West Somerset Railway Heritage Trust is constantly expanding and developing its range of activities and the scope of its offer to visitors on the West Somerset Railway. However, we don’t always recognise everything we do and share it in an understandable, timely and recognisable way. Therefore the Trust is looking to identify and appoint somebody on a voluntary basis to lead on our Public Relations and Communications work.

The person concerned will be highly motivated and self managing. They will be comfortable working with all sections of the Trust and with other members of the WSR railway family particularly the PLC. Good oral and written skills together with excellent interpersonal capabilities will be very important. Previous experience in this area will be desirable but not essential for somebody who demonstrates they have what it takes to do the job well.
